I have used spam for like 30 years, I have been on some evening sessions for 4 hours fishing and I have netted like 40 carp on some good evenings in the summer time, the lake I goto is heavily stocked with 4 to 15lbs roughly I love fishing it......

Unfortunately, after 5 months use, I wish I hadn't bought this. The cap on the top for the guy ropes has broken off, and the thread for having the pole at an angle has worn terribly. Because of this, the umbrella is just not nice to use.

Last year was a fantastic year, but this year I’ve had a lot of Carp and Perch on the worm, Roach and Rudd on the maggot and the handful of Tench has been on pellet and wafter, very unusual from the start of my season.

Was that all.on worm ?

When the water is up and couloured i tend to reduce my hook length down to 18". And absolutely ram the feeder so some stays in there. Works a treat

The 12-14ft power float rod looks very capable. I'm interested in purchasing one. In it's 12ft configuration is it 2 piece or 3 piece? I assume there is then an extra 2ft inset to extend it to 14ft? I only ask because elsewhere I've read that it is 2 piece with the 3rd piece being the extension. Thanks

I'm off on a caravan holiday in a few weeks to Southview Holiday Park in Skegness. Which is predominantly full of carp, but also dog Roach. Purely down to your video, I've just ordered all the same terminal tackle to help me fish bread flake on the lift method whilst feeding mashed bread and hemp!

Make your own easy fix, just need a block of dense foam in the top of a feeder, make it inline too, did this 25 years ago!!!

Presumably, you could just swap out a pellet waggler float for one of these and continue fishing with the same rod but are these classed as a float or as a feeder. I note a lot of venues say putting a float stop on the line above a feeder is a no no, however, it is allowed above a float. Is this why some fisheries have banned this?
